For our 2026 Stagelight Summer Camps, we will be offering FIVE DIFFERENT PROGRAMS that take place at THREE DIFFERENT LOCATIONS (we know, that sounds confusing…we’ll break down all the awesomeness for you here):
LOCATION #1- CHESTER SPRINGS (1645 Art School Road): SALT’s main theatre space, tucked in the nook of Historic Yellow Springs, is offering 4 different two-week long FULL-DAY (9am-3pm Monday-Friday) camps to choose from for Grades 3-8. Each two-week-long-camp is designed to help our Stagelight students grow in their confidence, while taking their singing, acting, and dancing training to the next level. They will spend their camp days rehearsing to put on a fully-produced junior-length musical (complete with costumes, set, mics, & lights) to perform on their final camp day. The shows this summer are are The Lion King Jr, The Little Mermaid Jr, Descendants, and Aladdin Jr. Space is limited - do not delay in registering. These sessions WILL sell out!
We also offer an EVENING (6pm-10pm) SUMMER STOCK option at our CHESTER SPRINGS location for Grades 3-12. Similar to our Stagelight U programs during the school year, this program is designed for students Grades 3-12 who have several years of experience in performing under their belts and are on a track of either pursuing it professionally or are desiring to grow in their skills and abilities in a challenging, fast-paced environment in an uplifting setting. Students will meet four times a week (Sunday through Thursday) for 4 WEEKS ONLY, and will spend their nights rehearsing to put on a fully-produced junior-length musical (complete with costumes, set, mics, & lights), which they will get a whole weekend of shows to perform in our newly-renovated SALT 2.0 theatre with all the bells and whistles of a professional show! The show this year for the evening camp is the magical musical, Matilda Jr. Space is limited - do not delay in registering. These sessions WILL sell out!
LOCATION #2- MONTGOMERY SCHOOL (1141 Kimberton Road): The Montgomery School’s new theatre space in Chester Springs (2 minutes from our SALT Chester Springs location) will host 8 different 1-week camp options for Grades K-2. These one-week-long-camps offer both FULL DAY (9am-3pm Monday-Friday) and HALF DAY (9am-12pm) options for each camp session. The FULL DAY camp is a great option for any sibling groups who are going into Grades K-2 and Grades 3-8, so that the siblings can be at camp at the same time only 2 minutes from each other (K-2nd at Montgomery and 3rd-8th at SALT in Chester Springs)! Each one-week-long-camp is designed to help our littlest Stagelight students grow in their confidence, while giving them an introduction to the performing arts. They will spend their mornings singing, acting, and dancing in prep for their short showcase on the final day, and will spend their afternoons participating in theatrical and creative enrichment activities. The themes this summer for each one-week-camp are KPop Demon Hunters, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Pixar, Descendants, Zombies, and Aladdin. Space is limited - do not delay in registering. LOCATION #3- WEST CHESTER (19 Hagerty Blvd) : SALT’s secondary location, just outside the Borough of Downtown West Chester, is offering 4 different two-week-long FULL-DAY (9am-3pm) camps to choose from for Grades 3-12. In partnership with Grounded Aerial (groundedaerial.com), the students get a one-of-a-kind camp experience where they not only grow in their confidence and performing arts skills, but ALSO get to learn some aerial acrobatic skills! They will spend their days learning how to do silks, bungee, lyra, and tumbling, while also prepping a themed musical song-and-dance medley to perform on their final day. The themes for each two-week-long-circus-camp this summer are KPop Demon Hunters, Wicked, Disney Movie Magic, and The Greatest Showman.
We also offer an EVENING (6pm-9pm) camp option at our WEST CHESTER location for Grades 6-12. Similar to our day camps at Chester Springs, this camp is designed to help our oldest Stagelight students the opportunity to continue growing in their confidence, while taking their singing, acting, and dancing training to a more professional level. Campers will meet three times a week (on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays) and will spend their nights rehearsing to put on a fully-produced junior-length musical (complete with costumes, set, mics, & lights), which they will get a whole weekend of shows to perform. The show this year for the evening camp is the beloved musical, Godspell Jr. Space is limited - do not delay in registering. These sessions WILL sell out!
